An Impactful Week at DEFEA 2025: VANOS S.A. Showcases the TeamUp Project

VANOS S.A. had a strong presence at DEFEA 2025 – Defence Exhibition Athens, one of the most influential defense and security events in Europe. Over the course of an impactful week, our team engaged with a diverse network of professionals, researchers, and decision-makers, sharing ideas and experiences from across the European defense ecosystem.

Among the highlights of our booth was the TeamUp project, a co-funded by the European Union initiative under the Horizon Europe framework. As part of our contribution to the project, we proudly presented our VANOS technology, the FDMD (Fast Deployable Mass Decontamination) system, a rapidly deployable tunnel designed to provide a closed and controlled environment for the effective decontamination of individuals exposed to CBRNE incidents. The system supports enhanced responsiveness and interoperability in critical situations, contributing to improved preparedness in multi-domain operational scenarios.

Our Research & Development team was actively involved throughout the exhibition, discussing ongoing work, exchanging know-how, and learning about other impactful European projects under both EDF and Horizon Europe frameworks. The exhibition offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen partnerships and position VANOS at the forefront of collaborative defense innovation.

We extend our thanks to all who visited our stand and look forward to continued collaboration across Europe’s defense and technology landscape.
